Eureka actually means, “I’ve found it!” This burg once predominantly known for its rumored healing springs is still thriving and ever evolving. Many talented and accomplished wanderers have taken a meandering path to this hamlet. Eureka is small but not a whistle stop, and very worthy of one’s time. There are many old towns, but not many that exude culture and mystique at such an affordable fare. One eloquent element of this city is the air of imagination and cultivation of creativity. Where many thriving metropolitan areas have blocks with a façade ‘ala ode to the charming eccentricities of the past’, Eureka’s charm is real.
